Terms of Service

These terms explain how Nearby K-Food can be used, what information we provide, and the responsibilities that apply when using restaurant discovery, saved places, and visitor reviews.

Welcome & Acceptance

Welcome to Algoboni's location-based restaurant discovery Service, Nearby K-Food (“Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Service Description

The Service helps users discover restaurants near a provided address or near their current location. You may manually enter an address or allow the Service to detect your current location (if permitted).

The Service may include links to external blogs, user-generated content, and our own editorial posts (Flavors-of-Korea). My Restaurants and Visitor Reviews are features available only to users who sign in using supported social login methods (Google, Facebook, or LINE).

After signing in, you may save restaurants to your personal My Restaurants list. These saved places can be accessed from My Page → My Restaurants. If you have visited a restaurant, you may also submit Visitor Reviews, which can be viewed and edited from My Page → My Reviews.

2. Permitted Use

You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You agree not to:

  • Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or resell any part of the Service.
  • Use the Service for unlawful, abusive, or harmful activities.
  • Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers/networks connected to the Service.

3. Accuracy & Reliability of Information

We strive to provide useful and up-to-date information, but we do not guaranteethe accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any content on the Service, including but not limited to:

  • Restaurant hours and operational details: Opening hours, menus, contact details, or other operational data may be inaccurate or outdated. Always verify directly with the restaurant.
  • External blog content: Many linked blogs are in Korean. Users should use their own translation tools; we are not responsible for translation inaccuracies.
  • Flavors-of-Korea editorial posts: These may contain opinions or outdated details.
  • Visitor reviews: Reviews or comments submitted by anonymous users may not reflect first-hand experiences or objectively accurate information. We do not verify whether reviewers actually visited the restaurant, and we are not responsible for any inaccuracies, subjective statements, or misleading impressions contained in such user-generated content. However, we will implement reasonable measures to promote the quality and integrity of visitor reviews, although these efforts do not constitute any guarantee of accuracy.

4. Location Data & Device Permissions

If you grant permission, the Service may access your device’s location to provide nearby results. Accuracy depends on device and network conditions. You may decline and instead enter an address manually.

5. Third-Party Services

The Service may integrate or link to third-party services (e.g., maps, analytics, blogs). These providers operate under their own terms and policies, and we are not responsible for their content or practices.

6. No Warranty

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ALGOBONI AND ITS AFFILIATES ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING ERRORS IN RESTAURANT INFORMATION OR BLOG CONTENT.

8. Reviews & User-Generated Content

To submit a Visitor Review, you must sign in using one of the supported social login providers. When you post a review, your chosen nickname and login provider may be publicly displayed. You are responsible for ensuring that your review is accurate and lawful.

You may edit or delete your Visitor Reviews anytime through My Page → My Reviews. We reserve the right to remove or refuse content that violates these Terms or applicable laws.

9. Changes to the Service & Terms

We may modify or discontinue the Service at any time. We may also update these Terms. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Where mandatory local rules apply, those rules shall take precedence.

11. Severability & Waiver

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain in full force. Failure to enforce a right does not constitute a waiver.
